The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland is home to approximately 16,500 animals, boasts spectacular views and four levels of award-winning exhibits. The National Aquarium is an internationally acclaimed architectural icon that can provide a forever memorable setting for your special occasions and events.
The National Aquarium provides outside and inside spacious locations for as few as 10 guests or as many as 2,500, which makes the Aquarium an ideal place even for corporate and convention events, banquets, holiday celebrations and much, much more.
Their catering is provided by The Classic Catering People (year of 2007 at the time of this article writing). The Classic Catering People are Baltimore’s premier catering company for more than 30 years. The Aquarium serves “The Little Penguin” as the preferred wine (2007).
Events include but are not limited to:
• Receptions
• Meetings
• Anniversary events
• Birthday parties
• Employee recognition
• Wedding receptions
Themes include Aquarium settings for both indoor and outdoor events with unique underwater viewing available inside, and a wonderful view of the Inner Harbor is available indoors or out.

The animals need a diverse and stimulating environment to explore. Simple objects like peanut butter jars and film canisters help the animals practice a wide range of natural behaviors, such as evading predators, foraging for food, and investigating new items that look, smell or feel different. Their toys need to be replaced often as they are used often by the animals.
Types of new items needed include:
• Basketballs
• Boat buoys
• Large squirt guns
• Parrot toys
• Plastic trashcans with lids
• Small plastic wading pool
• Sprinklers
• Sisal rope
